I was sick of The Player’s Guide to One-Night Stands. It was never my thing anyway. I thought I might have found the one, but my best friend snatched up her up first. After a while I accepted it and moved on, and a couple months later was in a relationship with a great girl.
However, this other female keeps invading my thoughts; she’s calculating, and brazen, and I walked in on her in bed with another guy after only two hours of knowing him. She’s the opposite of everything I want in a female.
There are things about her that don’t add up though, and now I might have just messed up in the worst, guilt-eating, possible way. I need her to forgive me because I want to get to know this woman. But along with her other qualities, she’s stubborn. She’s not going to make it easy.
I thought she was everything I didn’t want, but she could be everything I need.
This can be read as a standalone but it is part of a series and has characters that might have you wanting to read more...hopefully. Adult language and material.

This the second book in the series and is Seth and Nadia's story. Seth is the big silent guy and Nadia's is the brash poker playing Russian. I enjoyed their story but didn't love it like the first book (Nic and Carrie). The storyline was different which I enjoyed but something was just missing for me to give it five stars and I think it was Nadia's charachter. I just did not warm to her as much as I thought I would and did not really enjoy her poker playing part of the story. Overall an enjoyable addition to the series. Again a few editing mistakes but I love the writing style and the storylines. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series.Product details

I looooved this book. Seth was great. The classic physically big, but silent type. I like how he thought he wanted one thing in a female but it turned out that he really didn't. It just goes to show you that we think we want one thing, but that's not what's good for us. Nadia was a great character as well. She was a strong female that took care of herself. Even though she was young and didn't have much she didn't let that stop her from making a plan and seeing it through. Her and Seth together were perfect. They totally matched. He was silent, she was bold and talkative. I like how this author lets you get to know the characters. There's instant attraction, but not instant love. The two main characters don't fall instantly into bed, they get to know each other, and you get to know them. And Nadia is funny. There's humor along with a serious story line. There's angst which is good, but its believable angst, without TSTL moments.
There are other characters in this book that catch your interest too, but they don't overwhelm the story. It stays focused on the two main characters. But it does make me want to continue reading to find out what the heck is going to happen to them.
All I can say is that this book really grabbed my interest. I couldn't put it down. I got great insight into what they were thinking and feeling, and I like good intimate moments and this book has it.
Every woman deserves a man like Seth.This is such.a well written and.excited story,you forget that it involves young adults.This is such a likable story that there is not a lot of mention of his wealth or Nadia's working class status which makes for a enjoyable experience.There is so much passion and new developing love and it is smoking hot sexy.Seth is what you want in an alpha male that is not so arrogant and can't compromise that you have to grow to like him.I just love the backup from the supporting cast they are so spot on in the scenes it is if you are watching it unfold.I love the humor and the sarcasm.This is such a wonderful way to spend your reading time and a worthy story to recommend to friends.
