I love this author, especially the His Boy Next Door series! But this book is my favorite of her other books. There is Tom, a dominant who has a part-time sub in a less sexual relationship because the sub identifies as straight. His sub, Drew, is a bit of a brat who needs Tom to help him keep his life in order. Then at a BDSM party, Tom ends up in charge of a young sub, Elliott, who gets thrown away by his previous master. Tom has to work out what Elliott needs to make him whole and to help Elliott become self-aware enough to be able to consent in a meaningful manner. As Tom and Drew work to help Elliott, they also have to navigate their own changing relationship. What does Tom want from Elliott and from Drew? Is Drew really as straight as he thinks he is? great short read
No this author's best. It just seemed shallow. I love the His Boy Next Door Series. But this was a miss for me.
So this book is about a dom, and he meets a slave that is being mistreated. So he takes him home. He has a current sub who is a straight man who like to be humiliated,drew. Drew is staright, and I have never read a mmm book when I though one of the characters is pointless, meaning drew. Him and the dom, tom, don't have intercourse. They met up once a week on Friday, so dread can get a spanking and they continue that through the story they never becoming more. And the sweet amazing Elliot becomes his live in sub. It's not a mmm book. It just frustrating. But Tom is one of the best doms I have ever read. So if your looking for a threesome BDSM skip this one. Good luck.
Enjoyable may be a little strange but the uniqueness of Tom, Drake and Elliott makes this a desireable story to read. I just wish Tom would have beaten the snot out of the other "Master." Abuse on any level is overwhelming. And not one person deserves the hate and abuse that Elliott suffered.. the twists and turns were great and i was tantilized until the end...
Elliot drew Tom. Another short story that was totally unexpected--but in a good way. I can't believe how much emotion the author was able to pack into this little tale. Elliot is such a tragic and tortured soul that you want to wrap him up and keep him safe. Thankfully, Tom comes along and is able to provide what he needs. The twist in the story is how Drew is able to fit into this dynamic in such a believable manner. You want to pull for this MMM partnership. I did!
